Supernatural-01

The model of 1967 Chevrolet Impala of TV series Supernatural.
AMT has made a few additions to the normal Impala kit and launched the Supernatural kit. The boot lid internal sticker is given but the boot lid is fixed :)
Also, the weapon box is not even declared, let alone being given with the kit.

Since there is not a center console in the real one, I closed the installation holes in the shaft tunnel. And, since I would open the boot, I covered the fuel tank pit with plastic sheet.

I filled the open spaces with plastic sheets, which would be seen when the boot is open.

I carefully cut out the boot lid.

I prepared the interior reinforcement from plastic sheet.

I glued the reinforcement to the lid.

The rear bumper given with the kit was single piece, incorporating the part on the lid. I had to separate, but since it was impossible, I made a mold of the bumper and produced a duplicate from polyester putty.

Then I cut off the part that would stay on the lid. I sanded down the main bumper part to use on the model.

I manufactured the lid resting surfaces from plastic sheets.

I cut the rear glass part where the boot hinge would clash.

I manufactured and fixed the boot hinge.

I made the weapon box from plastic sheet and painted grey. I covered the outside with sticky medical fabric.

I applied the lid decal given with the kit.

Paint disaster... I applied Alclad chrome to the chromed parts, but the masking tape peeled the paint off! I applied putty and sanding, then repainted the model. I applied Bare Metal Foil for the chromed parts.

I prepared the weapon box contents on the computer and made 3D prints.

I put the weapon box in the boot.
