07 March 2008: I applied polishing paste
on the body.
Then
I installed the inner tub inside
the body.
17 March 2008: After painting
and installing the exhaust
pipe, I fixed the body on the chassis.
13 April 2008: I finished the
engine compartment.
11 February
2008:
To paint the
window rubbers, I applied
Humbrol Maskol on the glass parts, only the contours to be exposed. To
protect the back side of the glass from overspray, I covered the back
sides
with masking tape.
Just
at the phase of being touch-dry,
I pulled off the Maskol, revealing the painted contours.
I
retouched the places where chip-off
had occured while removing Maskol, with the tip of a brush. Then I
installed
the glasses, lighting, mirrors, etc. on the body.
