December 6, 2004
This is how it
was initially. |
|
I wanted to see
how it would look like with the roof reversed. Hmmmm.. not bad. Worth a
try! |
|
December 10, 2004
I decided to
give the whole body a forward rake by making the belly line parallel to
the ground and cutting the back. It will either be a hatch or
notchback,
I don't know yet. I also don't know how the final shape will look like
too. Did not make any sketches or so. Just doing as I feel... |
|
The first cuts
. |
|
I glued the rear
panel in an temporarily placeed the roof to see how it would look like.
Lowering the rear part of the roof gave a sleek look. Continue! |

Now the chassis
has to be lifted up at the front side too. |
|
I marked the
line where the upper wishbone would sit freely and cut the recess, as
well
as cutting the vertical positioning stops on the chassis. |
|
December 16, 2004
Now the chassis
fits the body well. |
|
December 19, 2004
I had to cut
the lower potion of the firewall too. |
|
January 23, 2005
The roof line,
where the now-front would be, showed somewhat abnormal contour, so I
had
to trim into the plastic. |
|
The drip rail
will later be modified. |
