September 1999:
The internal tub is covered with felt on the dashboard and the floor.
The rest are painted. The gauges are first painted matt black, then the
paint on the protrutions are scraped with a round hard brush. Thanks to
the excellent molding, the result would not be like this if it were of
poor quality. I wish the rest of the car had the same quality. Bucket
seats
are from my parts box. |

September 1999:
The engine is painted usual Ford blue. The air filter is detailed
by drawing the imitations for corrugated paper element. Ignition wiring
is added with Detail Master wires. |

September 1999:
And the logo. I think it is a
very distinct design element on this car. The grille is replaced by a
screen
from Detail Master. The logo generated on the computer is printed on
paper
and glued on a styrene sheet, then cut to profile. It is glued in front
of and away from the grille screen as an outstanding element.

September 1999:
The rear lamps were made by
drilling
and
filing the recesses, then applying
Humbrol Clear Fix to the gaps and imitating lenses. A sheet of Bare
Metal
Foil was put on the inside, and lenses painted with transparent red and
orange. |
|
The "CUSTANG" plate, as well as the
big Mustang logo in the front grille and the sticker just above the
rocker
panels were generated on computer and printed on sticker paper.

|
The headlamps and turn signals were
made from my parts box, since the kit had full molded chrome-coated
lighting. |

September 1999:
Now the car is finished.
Sunglasses
from Detail Master are added on the dashboard, as well as the wipers. |
|
The engine bay. A fuel filter made
by painting a zener diode is added on the engine. A scratchbuilt
ignition
coil is also placed on the right side inner panel. The fan was lost, so
it was scrachbuilt from sheet styrene. |
