Nobody is
perfect, including myself :)
Here
I present a number of my goofs. Some are due to being inexperienced,
some are not. Anyhow, this is what I am with my mistakes. I feel no
urge in correcting them because they are my milestones. And I see no
point in disguising what actually is...
|
1956 Ford:
This is the first plastic kit I
built, so these are due to being inexperienced.
No treatment on the flash of the front bumper. No paint in the emblem
of the fender. Lenses faded due to glue.
.
Glue fadings on the windscreen.
No chrome paint on the frame, leave alone Bare Metal Foil application!
.
No sanding of the mold
irregularity around the rear light.
.
Actually, no
excuses for the paint overflow :(
.
No sanding on the
gearbox joint and black painted exhaust pipes...
|
Jaguar SS100D:
Ignition
plug cables do not respect gravity!
|
1959
Cadillac Eldorado:
Orange peel and
bubbles in the clear coat...
.
|
"Lancimousine":
Bad sanding on the body extension
and poor painting.
.
Orange peel effect
and impurities stuck in paint.
.
|
Mini Cooper
Rally:
I
don't know if the clear coat cracks are my application fault or due to
the coat itself. Appeared about two months after finishing the model.
.
|
"PT
Cruncher":
Bad
sanding of the joined surfaces. Irregular door opening line.
.
.
Cracked joint on
the dashboard.
