I prepared the dashboard for painting, by applying BMF in advance. |

| A spray of wine red and touch-ups with scraping paint on BMF and applying chrome silver dots with the tip of a toothpick. |

| OK, disaster! I had thought of the possibility but never tested. The front side went low enough to display the tops of the carbs on the hood. |
 |
| Remedy came from my parts box. The looks are OK with the air scoop from the 70 Challenger. |
 |
| I cut the opening for the scoop. |
 |
| Then placed the scoop inside and glued. |
 |
|
Time for the doors to get ready for painting. I applied BMF as in the photo. I will keep the lower one as the metal kick plate. |

I took two front seats from my parts box, but now the seat upholsteries did not match. So I decided to convert the rear bench appearance similar to the front seats. |

| I marked the frame contours and cut strips from 1-mm thick styrene. I first formed the upper and side members. Meanwhile, I cut some number of Evergreen 2-mm half-round strips for the insides. |

| I glued the half-round strips in place, and went from the seat back to the sitting cushion. |  |

I finally put in the absent parts of the outer parts. The reason why these are left to the last is, to cut to exact dimensions left between the half-round strip blocks. |
