I cut the fixed tie rod free from the engine traverse.


Now the poseable steering looks more logical.....




I assembled the interior tub.



Another view of the interior before it gets in the car.




I applied two acrylic clear coats on the acrylic automotive paint. The checkerboard test is satisfactory...

The radiator was too high for the lowered front end, so I cut off a section from the center part.



This meant that the fan shroud and the fan would be obsolete and electric fans would have to be installed. So I cut two parts from a styrene tube and glued into place.



The new fan housings were filled by two electric fans made from styrene sheet.



Meanwhile, I prepared the tires (wider custom tires from a Ford kit) by sanding the thread zones.

I painted the front grille mainly to the body color.
