04 June 2011:
Works
about the glazing. I made stretch-molds for the front and rear windows
and manufactured the glass from heated acetate. I made the side windows
from a single acetate sheet, and applied computer-cut flat black
stickers as the rubber linings.
For the door glazings; I made use of
the doors and made male molds from solder to fit in the openings. Then
I cold-pressed acetate sheets between them.

08 June 2011:
I covered the
headlamp panel with BMF and painted the insides. For the lenses, I
filled the reflectors with drop-gel in layers.
|
I painted the dashboard.
|
10 June 2011:
I
painted and glued the seats on the chassis. I also painted the body,
covered the drip rails with aluminum tape. I glued the dashboard and
the rearmost seat panel inside the body; they will serve as the resting
stops for the chassis when inserted in the body.
|
Before
fixing the rear glazing, I made a curtain inside by deforming and
softening a piece cut from yellowish envelope. I also located a
triangular reflector inside the glazing. I covered the rear lamps with
Bare Metal Foil, later to be painted.
|
Some more progress with the body. I
had the red bands cut from sticky foil. I made decals for the company
logo and O302 scripts.
|
I
glued the glazing in place. For the door rubber gasket imitations, I
made use of sticky foil too.

11 June 2011 (FINISHED PHOTOS):
I joined the
chassis and the body. I made the wipers by soldering copper wires and
added the licence plates.
